Cincinnati Bengals Re-Sign CB Chris Lewis-Harris To The Practice Squad

New, comments

After a series of musical personnel to counter the injuries suffered in the secondary, the Bengals have reset their roster.

Andrew Weber-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

When the Cincinnati Bengals were dealing with the secondary's infirmary issues, they wanted some insurance against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Dre Kirkpatrick, Leon Hall, Nate Clements and Jason Allen were out, leaving Terence Newman and Adam Jones as the starting (and only) cornerbacks. After bringing Chris Crocker back to the team, who played primarily nickel last weekend, they released tight end Richard Quinn and promoted cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris to the 53-man roster. Though he didn't play any on defense, Lewis-Harris got into the game during special teams.

Earlier this week they began the process to reset their roster, signing Richard Quinn back to the 53-man roster and waiving Chris Lewis-Harris. Once he cleared waivers, the Bengals signed him back to the practice squad on Thursday.
