The Cincinnati Bengals face off against the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday and it's safe to say that both teams have had their respective share of disappointments this year. The Chiefs are a mess right now, currently only having one win to their credit and have been downright non-competitive. Unfortunately, the received some more bad news.
Defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey will be placed on Injured Reserve, according to multiple sources. He had been battling a nagging calf injury this year and the team made the decision to end his season on Monday. He had only played in four games this year, racking up only seven tackles.
This is likely the last time that Dorsey will be in a Chiefs uniform. He is set to be a free agent after the season and has been a monumental disappointment since being drafted fifth overall in the 2008 draft. He and fellow defensive lineman Tyson Jackson have a lot in common. Not only do they play the same position and are from LSU, but both have been huge disappointments for Kansas City. Former Bengal Shaun Smith is expected to get playing time with Dorsey heading to IR.
