The Bengals are seemingly playing it safe with a few players this week, as the team held a group of guys to limited participation at Wednesday's practice. According to reports, Vontaze Burfict, Nate Clements, Jeff Faine and Taylor Mays were in that group. Faine continues to battle a nagging hamstring injury that has plagued him for a few weeks. We expect to see Trevor Robinson as the starting center though, given his performance last week against the Giants.
Burfict and Clements are troubling, as they have been getting a glut of playing time at linebacker and safety, respectively. If both Clements and Mays can't go, the Bengals would be very thin at the strong safety spot. We'll know more as the week progresses.
