Though there's some optimism for the Cincinnati Bengals following their 31-13 win over the New York Giants, any stumble between now and the final week of the season means the end. Theoretically the Bengals have a shot at the division, but focus more on Wild Card projections. Assuming the Ravens and Steelers punch their respective postseason tickets, the Bengals will have a shot at the final Wild Card spot, currently held by the 6-3 Indianapolis Colts (currently the No. 5 seed).

San Diego plays the Denver Broncos and the Miami Dolphins took a hit against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football. There's no chance Cincinnati holds a seed in the postseason picture after this weekend, but a win puts them as the first team out with a Denver victory, making next week against the Oakland Raiders very interesting.

BENGALS INJURIES

Safety Reggie Nelson missed practice for the entire week with a hamstring, listed as doubtful during Friday's injury report. Also doubtful is wide receiver Marvin Jones, who was limited on Thursday and Friday but out since Week Seven against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

QUESTIONABLE ANDREW HAWKINS

Bengals wide receiver Andrew Hawkins showed on Friday's injury report with a knee, clearly suffered during Friday's practice. If he can't go, the Bengals will be down to five receivers, leaving A.J. Green and Brandon Tate as your likely starters.

RISE OF MOHAMED SANU

Rarely does a four-reception performance generate so much buzz for a rookie receiver, but Mohamed Sanu's knack for converting critical third and fourth downs last week was impressive. It's not that he set a career-high in receptions, it's that his receptions were during pressure situations that helped sustain drives.

With Hawkins questionable and Jones likely out, Sanu figures to have a significant role against the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend.
