Kansas City Chiefs Take 3-0 Lead On 34-Yard Field Goal

Both teams exchanged punts to initiate their respective offensive possessions opening a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Kansas City with the Chiefs opening their second possession of the game at Cincinnati's 30-yard line. Matt Cassel opened their second drive of the game with a 22-yard beauty over the middle to a well-positioned Tony Moeaki on a vertical to the Chiefs 47-yard line.

Kansas City then called Jamaal Charles' number on three consecutive runs, picking up 29 yards to the Bengals 24-yard line with just under 10 minutes remaining. A five-run Charles run and incomplete down the right sidelines near the front right pylon later, the Chiefs have third and five from the Chiefs 19-yard line with 8:40 left.

Matt Cassel takes the shotgun snap, looks and throws left for a four-yard Dexter McCluster receptions, falling one-yard shy with a great Leon Hall tackle prior to the first down. The Chiefs take a 3-0 lead on a Ryan Succop 34-yard field goal.

Charles picked up 36 yards on five carries during Kansas City's 59-yard field goal drive.
