Mike Nugent Ties Franchise Record With 55-Yard Field Goal; Bengals Lead Raiders At Half 24-0

The Raiders began their drive after Mohamed Sanu's touchdown and entered Cincinnati territory for the first time of the day. They were ultimately faced with a 4th and 1 at Cincinnati's 45 yard line, but they were unable to convert on an inside hand off to Owen Schmitt.

The Bengals were unable to capitalize on the turnover on downs.

Andy Dalton was quick to strike A.J. Green for a 19 yard gain. Another bullet to Mohamed Sanu for a 5 yard gain was keeping the momentum that was stalled but a follow up incompletion to Sanu. Facing 3rd and 5 at Oakland's 38 yard line, Dalton threw an incomplete pass to A.J. Green - meaning Mike Nugent had to answer the call.

Nugent's field goal was kicked wide right and the Bengals were unable to put another 3 points on the board.

Oakland began another opportunity to score before the half at their own 38 yard line.

After an incomplete pass, Palmer connected with Juron Criner for 11 yards. Chris Crocker ended Palmer's drive by intercepting Palmer's pass for 29 yards. It was Crocker's third interception of the season.

The Bengals moved quickly to get into field goal range before the end of the first half. Andy Dalton connected with Mohamed Sanu for 11 yards and quickly called for a timeout with 1 second left on the clock. Mike Nugent was facing a 55 yard field goal attempt, which he converted. Nugent tied a record held by the franchise since 1979.

The Bengals are leading 24-0 at halftime. Bengals Total Yards: 289 - Raiders Total Yards: 83.
