Cincinnati Bengals Week Nine Defensive Snap Count Against The Denver Broncos

Breaking down the Cincinnati Bengals snap distribution during the team's 31-23 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Greg Bartram-US PRESSWIRE

Here's a bit of irony for you. After being released during the offseason and signed earlier this year, safety Chris Crocker has slowly integrated himself into the defense. Not only did he start his first game of the year against the Denver Broncos, he had the highest participation count of any defender on the team. At the same time Reggie Nelson, who generally posts the most snaps every week on defense, left the game with an injury.

Writing on the wall keeps hinting that the team is finding less use for Manny Lawson, who generated less snaps than rookie Emmanuel Lamur, playing in his first game of his career.
