Bengals Forced Fumble Turns Into Early 7-0 Lead On BJGE Touchdown

What a start.

After the opening kickoff and a nine-yard pass to Riley Cooper, the Eagles have second and one at the Eagles 28-yard line with 14:21 remaining in the first quarter. Quick bubble screen on second down to Jeremy Maclin, who picks up the first down.

Yet Carlos Dunlap tracks Maclin down from behind, swats the football out of the receivers hands, recovered by Domata Peko at the Eagles 44-yard line.

Hand off to BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who explodes through the line of scrimmage, down the right sidelines for a 29-yard gain. A near-interception turned eight-yard reception and five-yard Green-Ellis run later, and the Bengals have first and goal from the Eagles two-yard line.

Bengals offensive coordinator kept the Green-Ellis train running, pounding the football three straight times, ending with a one-yard touchdown and 7-0 lead.
