Bengals Take 17-13 On Andy Dalton Draw With Over Four Minutes Remaining

Starting from their own 45-yard line with 14:12 remaining in the fourth quarter, BenJarvus Green-Ellis picked up six yards to midfield. That's when Andy Dalton launched the football to a wide-open A.J. Green down the right sidelines. However the football was thrown slightly out of bounds, falling incomplete. Dalton was sacked on third down, forcing the Bengals to punt the football back to San Diego with over 13 minutes remaining.

Thankfully San Diego's offense is struggling just as much, going three and out on their ensuing possession, putting the football back to Cincinnati, downed at the Bengals 45-yard line.

That's when BenJarvus Green-Ellis took over, pounding the football with a little support from the Bengals passing game setting up a third and five from the Chargers 16-yard line with under six minutes remaining. Dalton takes the shotgun snap, flips the football over the middle to Andrew Hawkins.

First and goal from the six-yard line. Nevermind. Illegal formation, first and goal from the 11-yard line. BenJarvus Green-Ellis wiped out the five-yard penalty on first down back to the six-yard line. Andy Dalton takes the second down snap, looks to his right and sprints up the middle on a designed draw, scoring a touchdown and giving the Bengals a 17-13 lead.
