It's like the old days. NFL on Saturday. Unfortunately it's not a shifting trend. The league pushed Monday Night Football, which lands on Christmas Eve this year, to Saturday Night.
With a win the Atlanta Falcons can clinch homefield advantage in the NFC. The Lions can upset that but they're pretty much made irrelevant, unless you care for breaking big single-season records (Calvin Johnson breaking Jerry Rice's receiving record) on a team that offers no shot at the playoffs.
Either way. It's Saturday Night Football.
