They're back.
At 4:30 PM on Saturday, January 5, the Cincinnati Bengals will return to the postseason in back-to-back seasons for the first time in 30 years. It's a milestone that was viewed as impractical after Cincinnati started the season 3-5 and historical evidence -- yet this team cares little for what this franchise has done in the past. And fortunately they crushed the second half schedule, clinching a postseason berth last week against one of Cincinnati's toughest opponents in Pittsburgh.
Now the Bengals will ship off to Houston for a Wild Card rematch, taking on the Texans whom knocked Cincinnati out of the first round during last year's playoffs.
And they're already the underdog.
The Cincinnati Bengals, who have won seven of their last eight games, open this week as 4.5-point underdogs to the Houston Texans, who have lost three of their last four games.
Underdogs. Exactly how we like it.
