If there's any indication on how the Cincinnati Bengals might be viewing Cedric Peerman's injury, consider that the last time they were down to two running backs (Brian Leonard), they simply risked the depleted depth chart with Chris Pressley participating if they needed carries.
Not this time.
According to Jason La Canfora with CBSSports.com, the Cincinnati Bengals worked out a host of veteran running backs, "including Mewelde Moore and Rock Cartwright," but it "sounds like" that the team could be making a move on their roster squad.
The practice squad player La Canfora mentions is rookie Dan "Boom" Herron, who the Bengals selected in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL draft.
