Report: Bengals Have Hired UCLA's Director Of Football Operations As West Coast Scout

To further the report that Jason Garrison broke via Joe Reedy at the Cincinnati Enquirer, one of the specific hires that the Bengals have to their staff is that of Steven Radicevic. Football Scoop broke this news a little earlier in the afternoon and they are hearing that Radicevic will become the Bengals' West Coast regional scout. It appears that the Bengals front office is finally hearing the pleas from their faithful fans to beef up their scouting staff and bring it up to the standards of many other NFL franchises.

Radicevic previously held the position of Director of Football Operations at UCLA, a position that he held for the last two seasons. He was the Assistant Director of Football Operations for a year prior to that. A Southern California native, Radicevic also played for the Bruins in the mid-2000s until he graduated in 2007. He was a coaching assistant for one year after he graduated. It's unclear what specific connection, if any, that Radicevic had to the Bengals staff, but it appears that he will be going the team soon. It will be interesting to see what impact that this hire will have on the team's draft in April.

We'll continue to keep you updated as we hear more.
