Free agent running back Michael Bush, expected to visit with the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday, has a scheduled visit with the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday, tweets ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.\
UPDATE: Schefter updates that the Seahawks are just interested in Bush and no visit is scheduled.
Now another source says nothing has been scheduled between Seahawks and Michael Bush, just that Seattle "very much" wants to bring him in.
After adding QB Matt Flynn, the Seahawks have scheduled a visit Tuesday for Raiders RB Michael Bush. TE Jacob Tamme also to visit Seattle.
Though it would seem somewhat surprising that Seattle would be interested after the Seahawks signed Marshawn Lynch to a four-year deal worth $31 million (with $17 million guaranteed and a $6 million signing bonus), it's in Bush's best interest to play the free agent market. Cincinnati would offer Bush a more proactive role as a feature running back, despite the projected committee Jay Gruden is implementing with Bernard Scott whereas in Seattle, it's Lynch.
Now this doesn't mean Cincinnati won't be able to sign Bush on Monday. There's more than enough examples of teams hosting a free agent, who had upcoming visits on his itinerary, and signing him before allowing him to complete those visits.
Bush has also visited with the Chicago Bears and (via some reports though Bush denied) the Arizona Cardinals.
