The lack of full-time scouts has been a harping point for disgruntled Bengals fans for a long time. It's one of the biggest running jokes with the Mike Brown empire, but not for much longer.

Is Mike Brown relinquishing power to his daughter, Katie Blackburn? Or the old man himself simply turning a new leaf? In any case, this can only be a positive move for the Bengals. More scouts means more information, and more information means better drafting.

A report had broken on March 1st that the Bengals had hired Steven Radicevic as their West Coast scout, but nothing was officially announced. Now, the Bengals have announced this signing and another - Robert Livingston, a coaching assistant of Vanderbilt University.

Livingston is younger than you might think. He started at free safety for William & Mary from 2007-2009, and worked as a defensive quality control assistant with Vanderbilt last year.
