Due to the awesome power of the TV guide, we can assume that the 2012 NFL schedule is going to be released this coming Tuesday evening. ESPN has a three-hour block of programing set aside on Tuesday at 7 p.m. (ET) titled "NFL Schedule Release," which will include "a look at top NFL games for 2012, plus team-by-team evaluations and interviews."

The Bengals games that could be mentioned are any of the AFC North games, especially the ones played against Baltimore and Pittsburgh, and their home game against the Oakland Raiders, which will mark the first return of Carson Palmer since he was traded away after he threatened to retire. Each team is promised a prime time game in 2012 so it will be interesting to see which one is given to the Bengals and how many they get.

The Bengals' 2012 opponents are:

Home:

Ravens, Browns, Steelers, Broncos, Raiders, Cowboys, Giants, Dolphins

Away:

Ravens, Browns, Steelers, Chiefs, Chargers, Eagles, Redskins, Jaguars
