According to his twitter account, New Mexico state wide receiver Taveon Rogers is signing with the Cincinnati Bengals (one of several undrafted free agents the team has signed). Rogers posted 59 receptions for 1,048 yards receiving and nine touchdowns with the New Mexico State Aggies during his final season in 2011. Also of note, Rogers generated 103 kickoff returns for 2,728 yards and three touchdowns (all during his final season).
Rogers recorded a 4.33 40-time during his March 16, 2012 Pro Day. He was named to the All-WAC First-Team, broke nearly every kickoff return record in school history, who led the nation with 196.3 all-purpose yards per game by early December.
