If Bengals offensive guard Kevin Zeitler is going to learn from anyone, then why not Bengals legend Max Montoya, a four-time Pro Bowler, two-time Super Bowl participant that started 152 games in 11 season with Cincinnati. Montoya, who is the best Bengals player to wear No. 65 in team history, will be attending the "World Famous Line Clinic" with Paul Alexander. Zeitler, the team's offensive line pup will be in tow.
"I used to listen to my offensive line coach in college talk about going to this clinic and bringing back stuff that he learned," Zeitler says. "I never knew it was in Cincinnati. I'm really looking forward to it. Anytime I can learn something new, I'm ready for it."
Geoff Hobson with Bengals.com talks about this weekend's clinic, which will be held at Cincinnati's Millennium Hotel with Gold Star catering the event.
"It's always a big weekend for Gold Star," says Bengals offensive line coach Paul Alexander, who was one of the eight attendees at the first one nearly 30 years ago at the club's old practice facility Spinney Field before it all Mushroomed. "A lot of large men eating chili."
Not a bad crash course for the pup Zeitler.
