During the team's OTA sessions last week, Leon Hall spent time rehabilitating an Achilles injury. Nate Clements sat with an abdominal strain. Dre Kirkpatrick didn't work with a precautionary hamstring issue. According to Geoff Hobson with Bengals.com, all three cornerbacks are sitting during the first of a three-day OTA session that began on Tuesday.

There's no updates as their issues (or recovery), but we can assume that they're a carry-over from last week. Save for Hall's recovery, the injuries aren't said to be serious and that Clements and Kirkpatrick are largely resting as a precaution. We suspect if this were a week leading up to a regular season game, both players would be practicing.

Making matters worse is that Shaun Prater (reportedly sitting last week) and Adam Jones are also sitting. That leaves Brandon Ghee, Terence Newman and Jason Allen as the team's only working cornerbacks on Tuesday (as of this posting).

Rookie defensive tackles Devon Still and Brandon Thompson are also out on Tuesday and running back Dan Herron was observed at practice in a boot.

After this week's three-day session, the Bengals will have a four-day OTA next week, capped by a mandatory veteran minicamp in mid-June to close out the offseason/organized workout programs.
