Bengals Linebacker Micah Johnson Hosting Youth Football Camp

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Micah Johnson, who signed onto Cincinnati's practice squad on December 13, 2011, has plenty of work to do if he's going to make the 53-man roster. With names like Rey Maualuga, Thomas Howard and Manny Lawson, as well as Dan Skuta, Roddrick Muckelroy and Dontay Moch likely locked into the roster, it seems like a rather steep challenge for a guy like Johnson.

In the meantime Johnson is hosting a youth football camp on June 16, following the Cincinnati Bengals mandatory minicamp in two weeks, with kids in the range of six and 18 years old at StoneCrest Park in Prestonsburg.

From Lex18.com (NBC affiliate in Lexington, Kentucky):

Cost of the camp is $65 and includes lunch, a T-shirt and certificate.

Campers will be grouped according to ages and have an opportunity to compete for awards in various competitions.

Football fundamentals will be covered throughout the camp.

Pre-registration for the camp is encouraged. For more information on the camp, including group and team discounts, call 606-339-5948 or email highestlevelsports@yahoo.com.
