Bengals wide receiver Jordan Shipley is a co-owner, along with Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten and Colts longsnapper Justin Snow, of a recently opened sports training facility in Texas called D1 Abilene; an area that Shipley calls his roots.

During an interview with KTXS, Shipley was asked about how his knee, which he's been rehabilitating since tearing an ACL early last year.

"I'm getting a lot better. I'm really close to 100 percent. Just getting ready to get the season started, working really hard rehabbing."

Though he's largely tagged as the team's slot receiver, we're not sure that his position as a primary slot receiver is safe. Guys like Mohamed Sanu, Andrew Hawkins and even Ryan Whalen could make his job a little more difficult.
