During a recent radio interview Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis gave on 700 WLW's Sports Talk, he went into two semi-rants about Twitter. Players talking about their injuries or becoming a big deal that shouldn't; either way if twitter were terrorism, Marvin Lewis would be Rambo, Jack Bauer and Commando wrapped into one.
Though he can't single-handedly shut down twitter (yet), it appears he's at least addressing the point that he has the most control over from a series of tweets by Bengals beat writers.
Looks like it is going to be awhile before your favorite #bengals player tweets again. Supposedly ML has shut down Twitter for players
Joe Danneman of Fox19 says that Lewis placed restrictions on tweets by players, telling them not to tweet about the team.
Marvin put restrictions on Twitter. Didn't ban it. But told players not to Tweet about team.
