Friday Afternoon Bengals Training Camp Updates

More information will surface later but here's a couple of quick notes during Cincinnati's first practice at this year's training camp, through tweets from those observing today's session.

It appears that a handful of players left practice on Friday. Nothing has been substantiated so there doesn't appear to be anything series. Defensive end Robert Geathers left practice with a possible issue in his leg. Travelle Wharton was taken off the field on a cart, but it appears to be heat related. Same thing goes for Mohamed Sanu, minus the cart.

Pat Sims and Mike Nugent showed up on the Active/PUP list on Friday, but Geoff Hobson notes that it appears that they're resting hamstrings. It seems likely that they'll be off PUP sooner rather than later.

The Bengals put the figure of fans attending the first practice at this year's training camp at 1,500. If you plan on going this weekend, the Bengals don't think fans need to arrive any earlier than 10 AM.

A couple of Tweets from our own Brennen Warner, who attended training camp this year.
