Yesterday, we spoke about how the cornerback group for the Bengals resembled the walking wounded, as six players didn't suit up at the position. Aside from Dre Kirkpatrick's knee injury, most seemed to be precautionary measures because of age, conditioning or slowly working a rehabbing player back into practice.
UPDATE: Our own Brennen Warner tweets that Adam Jones and Nate Clements also returned to practice along with Newman and Hall.
Today, FOX 19's Joe Danneman reports that two veteran corners returned to practice today in full pads, seemingly showing that they're a full go.
It's a welcomed sight for a group that needs as many able bodies as possible. We also have been hearing from the local writers that Brandon Ghee has been looking very good in fill-in duty with all of these players resting. We'll touch more on that situation later and will continue to give updates on practice and injuries as we hear them.
