For the second time in as many days, Bengals wide receiver Brandon Tate didn't practice on Monday after suffering what appeared to be tightness in his hamstring on Saturday. Armon Binns replaced Tate on the first-team squad during 11-on-11 drills opposite of A.J. Green.
Andrew Hawkins played most of the first-team slot.
The second-team wide receivers appeared to be Ryan Whalen and Mohamed Sanu out wide with Jordan Shipley, fresh off the PUP in the slot.
Tate is in a precarious position. His livelihood as a return specialist isn't guaranteed and it's likely that his job security could be directly related to Binns on offense. The longer he sits, the decreasing chance he makes the team. But we're just speculating at this point.
