With Rob Chudzinski becoming the newest head coach for the Cleveland Browns Thursday night, its left an opening for offensive coordinator in Carolina. According to Albert Breer with the NFL Network, Carolina has requested permission to speak with Bengals assistant secondary and special teams coach Hue Jackson.
Carolina requested permission to interview Hue Jackson about its OC opening, w/Chud gone. The Jets have also expressed interest in Jackson.
Breer also tweets that the New York Jets have expressed interest in Jackson, likely due to the coaching link in Baltimore when Rex Ryan, now the Jetes head coach, was the defensive coordinator.
