Go ahead and add the Arizona Cardinals.
According to a published report by CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, the Arizona Cardinals will interview Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden this week for their vacant head coaching position. Previously La Canfora had reported that the Cardinals were interested, but offered nothing in the form of a planned interview.
Interestingly interest in offensive coordinator Jay Gruden from the Arizona Cardinals has actually grown in the past 24 hours, around the time that Gruden and his Bengals offense offered one of their worst passing performances.
The Eagles are planning to interview Gruden this week as well.
If he leaves (and Bengals fans are crossing their fingers now), two in-house favorites includes quarterback coach Ken Zampese and assistant special teams coach Hue Jackson, who has been an offensive coordinator for three teams (Washington in 2003, Atlanta in 2007, Oakland in 2010-'11).
And no, Chip Kelly is not interviewing in Cincinnati. Just saying.
