Soon after reports that Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer would interview with the Cleveland Browns, Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribute tweeted that the San Diego Chargers are interested as well, though no interviews are set.
According to multiple reports, the Chargers are also interested in chatting with Lovie Smith, UCLA head coach Jim Mora and with Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, who is the candidate most tied to the vacancy.
