Remember what we were saying a few weeks ago that everyone has their bad weeks? Yep. After brilliantly navigating through the first five weeks with a .547 winning percentage, last week's 4-11 record set me back to .500 with the rest of the clan.
Onto the games.
I don't see a Carson Palmer led offense beating Seattle, though the Seahawks tend to struggle when playing away; maybe fall short of the spread? Atlanta is missing some key players, but it makes sense that the Buccaneers are going to the city that's home to the CDC headquarters. It's unethical to pick someone over the Bengals.
Buffalo impressed me enough last week to pick them over Miami, who has an eight-plus point spread. I could see Denver having a problems with an emotional Peyton Manning return -- largely because Colts owner Jim Irsay has forced the Broncos to answer questions about Irsay's comments. Engineered distraction with a little help from the media. The rest of my picks were coin tosses.
