Bengals' slow starts are becoming the norm
Each of the last two weeks the Bengals dug halftime deficits to necessitate fourth-quarter comebacks and eventual overtime losses. While the fight of the team to crawl back into the games clearly illustrated resolve, pinpointing the reason for sluggish starts didn't appear so obvious.

Bengals Breakdown: A.J. Green's Hail Mary
Inspired by my ESPN.com colleague, Lions reporter Michael Rothstein, I'm starting a new weekly tradition on the Bengals blog. Following each game, we'll take a deeper look at one key play from the contest just passed, and analyze it with comments from those who had a true front-row seat for it.

The Morning Line, 11/12, Marvin Gets Mental | Paul Daugherty
This is the time of the football season when mental games can be as important as the physical ones, which could be why M. Lewis seems to be doing some extra pumping up of his players. It has been a busy Monday back in the Queen City following the Cincinnati Bengals' 20-17 overtime loss at Baltimore.

Notes: Whit looks to rebound; Green expands NFL lead
A.J. Green's tip-drill acrobatics for a 43-yard catch and his rebound off a 51-yard Hail Mary on Sunday have given him a 109-yard lead over Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson in the NFL receiving yardage race.

Time for Bengals to regroup, put losses behind
With two straight losses for the first time in more than a year, offensive coordinator Jay Gruden was trying to look ahead instead of back. At 6-4, the Bengals lead the Browns and Ravens by 11/2 games in the AFC North heading into Sunday's game against Cleveland.
