The Bengals are doing what they can to recover and get as many of their walking wounded back to the lineup, but appears to be a "two steps forward, four steps back" kind of scenario. A report surfaced Monday that offensive guard Kevin Zeitler wore a boot on Monday, but there were other players that all have been eager to hear about. There was a little good news on Tuesday with a couple of players returning, but a handful of others sat.
Good news is that Gresham and Boley were practicing #Bengals

Thompson Zeitler Crocker Still Maualuga Burfict not practicing #Bengals

There is still a dim hope that Devon Still and Rey Maualuga could suit up against the Browns on Sunday. Still is dealing with an elbow injury he sustained against Detroit, and Maualuga had a knee ligament sprain in the blowout against the Jets. We know the deal with Zeitler, though we haven't heard the extent of the foot injury.
Vontaze Burfict reluctantly took himself out of the game against the Ravens late in the fourth quarter and didn't play again until overtime. If you watched the game, it appeared that a concussion could have been the issue, though again we don't have a released report yet, other than he went to the locker room to test for that. We're thinking that it could be rest for Crocker and Thompson, due to Crocker's age and the high increase of work to Thompson, though we will await confirmation on that.
We'll have a full practice report later.
