Time to pay the bills, again.
It's not easy finding positives in a game that the Bengals lost due to a safety in overtime, while also dreadfully losing Geno Atkins or the year. But such is life. You win 'em, you lose 'em, and you have to deal with whatever life throws at you.
We're taking a look at two teammates having a great run and we're struggling to find any two players having as good a run as wide receivers A.J. Green and Marvin Jones. We could have gone with Carlos Dunlap and Michael Johnson, but considering that we featured one (with a minor in the other) in a previous sponsorship posting, let's add a little variety.
In the last four games against the Bills, Lions, Jets, and Dolphins, A.J. Green has accumulated 26 receptions for 501 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Comparatively speaking, during the same time frame, Jones has 19 grabs for 316 yards receiving and six touchdowns. He would have generated a seventh during a 50-yard touchdown against the Dolphins (which would have given him 116 yards in the game) had Jermaine Gresham not been called for a questionable offensive hold.
Both players have combined for 45 receptions, 817 yards receiving and eight touchdowns in the last four games. You really can't find two teammates having as good of a run as these two.
