Various reports have the Cleveland Browns interested in Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase (who has reportedly declined all interview requests until after the playoffs), Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, Arizona defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
Albert Breer with the NFL Network reports that New England has granted the interview request.
Per source, the Patriots have granted the Browns permission to interview offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

McDaniels was born near Akron, Ohio and played ball at Canton McKlinley and John Carroll University. So there's the whole "home town" story line here.
