There are several reasons that thousands of media members flock to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis every year. They don't just go to watch hundreds of athletes run in straight lines and lift weights. They also go because head coaches, general managers and team owners make themselves available for interviews. Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis will address the media on Friday at 11:30 a.m.
Lewis isn't known for being very open with the press when it comes to almost anything. He speaks in generalities and, for the most part, keeps his cards close to his chest. That doesn't mean he won't tell us anything, though.
While Lewis certainly won't discuss the starting lineup or the team's exact plan in the draft, he will answer some general questions about player health, where the team finished in 2012 and what they'd like to do in 2013. Marvin-speak is fairly predictable and I'm not expecting to hear anything that blows me away while I'm here, but you never know.
If you were to interview Lewis during his time on the stage at the Combine, what would you ask him?
Basically, do my job for me!
