2013 NFL Combine: Friday Schedule

With Friday comes the first on-field workouts for players, more press conferences with coaches and team personnel and running backs, wide receivers and quarterbacks arrive. Here's Friday's schedule.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

INDIANAPOLIS -- Thursday was a blur and Friday will likely be one as well. The 2013 NFL Combine is in full swing as coaches, general managers and draft hopefuls are addressing the media. On Friday, offensive linemen as well as special teams players will also take the field for the first time for bench press as well as other workouts.

Friday's highlight, at least for Bengals fans, though, will surely be head coach Marvin Lewis' press conference, which is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Lewis, like most other coaches will address the media and take questions on last season and the team's plan for the offseason and for 2013.

Other team personnel that will be stepping up to one of the two main podiums include Giants coach Tom Coughlin, Broncos Executive Vice President John Elway, Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski, Falcons coach Mike Smith, Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett and others.

On the field, offensive linemen will be showing off their upper-body strength in the bench press while place kickers and punters work out. Our own Joe Goodberry recommends that you keep an eye on Alabama's D.J. Fluker, Oklahoma's Lane Johnson, Florida State's Manelik Watson, Tennessee's Dallas Thomas and Oregon's Kyle Long as well as other offensive linemen just in case the Bengals are unable to retain right tackle Andre Smith.

Positions that the Bengals are a little more interested in looking at will be checking in on Friday as quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs are arriving in Indianapolis. They won't be working out, but they will be going through medical examinations, weighing in and addressing the media.
