2013 NFL Free Agency: Ravens Talking To James Harrison's Agent

Two of the AFC North teams are in good salary cap shape, while two others are quite strapped. The Ravens and the Steelers have had the misfortune of losing some of their key players this offseason and are scrambling to gain some positive momentum. The Steelers released outside linebacker James Harrison earlier this week and now it appears that one of their rivals are interested in his services.

According to The Baltimore Sun, the Ravens' front office has reached out to Harrison's agent for preliminary talks. Bill Parise, Harrison's agent, was quoted as saying: "It's early and we're not in negotiations, but we're having some good conversations. Baltimore would be an outstanding place for James to play because he knows the division and has that familiarity and they're a class organization. We'll see where it goes."

Harrison is 35 years old, but could be a good one or two year rental for a club.
