With the Raiders having to play Peyton Manning and Phillip Rivers twice a year and getting rid of who many people thought was the best Defensive Back on their team in Michael Huff, they are going to need an impact player to come in and shore up the 20th ranked pass defense from a year ago. The Raiders could go after any number of the top defensive prospects in this years draft such as Dion Jordan from Oregon, or Sharrif Floyd out of Florida and they would have a positive impact on the defense, but I think the Raiders are going to look for a player to play the way Nnamdi Asomugha played for them a few years ago and lock down one side of the field.

For those reasons I am going to pick Dee Milliner, Cornerback from Alabama as the Raiders 1st round pick. With his 3 years experience in playing in Nick Saban's NFL style defense and tied for first in the nation with 22 pass breakups, I think he can come in and make in immediate impact for the Raiders. The only perceived knock on him is his lack of elite straight line speed, but he makes up for that with great football awareness, so he is never out of position.
