OPEN THREAD: Happy Easter And Sunday Sports Schedule

New, comments

Wishing a happy Easter to my friends at Cincy Jungle. It's gloomy in Cincinnati, so if family and egg hunts are removed from the schedule, we have your day in sports.

Christian Petersen

We're not amazed that the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat are playing on NBA TV, instead of ABC or ESPN. Despite featuring two great teams this year, the Spurs remain one of the least promoted great teams in NBA history. It'll be on my tube for my Spurs allegiance (I was born in Texas and have followed ever since).

What is amazing is Major League Baseball's schedule to feature the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers (no Texan allegiance there), as the opening game to the 2013 MLB season. As Reds fans, we won't and will never, recognize this as the opening game. That'll be Monday afternoon when the Reds host the Angels.

Happy Easter, my friends.
