Bengals DL Coach Jay Hayes Conducted Drills At Texas A&M Pro Day

That makes two defensive coaches attending Texas A&M Pro Day, which makes us speculate that the Bengals are more more than interested in Damontre Moore.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer wasn't the only coach attending Texas A&M's Pro Day earlier this week, presumably checking out defensive end Damontre Moore, who is ranked within the top-five on most position boards.

According to Lance Zierlein with the National Football Post, Cincinnati Bengals defensive line coach Jay Hayes conducted drills, along with coaches with the Detroit Lions and Oakland Raiders.

That being said, Moore wasn't nearly as impressive, writes Zierlein:

Moore was just average in drills. Nothing special. After Moore was finished with the defensive linemen, he went to work out with the linebackers because teams who run a 3-4 system wanted to see how he moved in space. Moore did not look fluid at all in linebacker drills, but he was also coming off of a pretty intense workout with the defensive linemen.

Considering that two known defensive coaches attended this workout, we're assuming that players like left tackle Luke Joeckel and wide reciever Ryan Swope aren't on the radar. But as we reiterate when chances allow, don't read too much into workouts and Pro Days when predicting what the Bengals will do in late April.
