According to Brian Leonard's agent Mike McCartney, the four-year Bengals running back is signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Leonard is the sixth Bengals free agent to leave during free agency, following linebacker Manny Lawson, defensive tackle Pat Sims, quarterback Bruce Gradkowski, place-kicker Josh Brown and linebacker Dan Skuta.Excited for @brian40leonard to re-join Greg Schiano on a 1 year deal with the @tbbuccaneers

Acquired during a trade with the St. Louis Rams on May 7, 2009 in exchange for defensive tackle Orien Harris, Leonard generated 336 yards rushing on 86 carries during his four seasons with the Bengals, including 83 receptions for 631 yards receiving. Though his primary function was always as a special teamer with various third down roles. Cincinnati worked on replacing him with free agency visits that included running back Mike Goodson, though we're not certain how serious those overtures were.
Five free agents remain, from Andre Smith, cornerback Nate Clements, safety Chris Crocker, linebacker Thomas Howard and running back Bernard Scott.
