Bengals players reported to Paul Brown Stadium for voluntary workouts on Monday and Andrew Whitworth, Andy Dalton and Geno Atkins both caught up with Geoff Hobson and discussed the potential signing of former Steelers linebacker James Harrison.
Spoiler Alert: Both supported it.
Whit on Harrison..It would be great to have him in this locker room

Geno on Possible Harrison add: Can never have enough pass rushers

Carlos Dunlap on possibly adding Harrison: "He hates the Steelers now, and that's somebody we need on our side of the football. "

Andy Dalton on the possibility of the #Bengals adding James Harrison: "It would definitely be nice to have him on our side rather than looking across the line of scrimmage and seeing him out there."
Whitworth supporting the potential Harrison signing, saying he would be good to have in the locker room means a lot. Harrison is known for his vicious hits and for talking quite a bit of trash, may concern some Bengals fans, especially since many of those vicious hits and trash talking has been directed at the Bengals. However, In Whitworth we trust and if the team's left tackle would be happy with Harrison's potential influence in the locker room, so should Bengals fans.
As for Atkins' point, he's absolutely right. The best way to stop a team's powerful passing attack is to have a solid pass rush. The Bengals finished third in the league with 51 sacks, a franchise high, and the addition of Harrison should make their pass rush even more effective.
Harrison and the Bengals are reportedly trying to complete a contract on Monday.
