The Cincinnati Bengals have signed Mike Pollak to add depth to the interior of the offensive line. His one-year deal is worth $780,000, which includes a $35,000 signing bonus and a $30,000 roster bonus, according to Aaron Wilson.

Pollak's signing will give the Bengals a backup guard that could step in for either Kevin Zeitler or Clint Boling, should the need arise. The team's other guard, Travelle Wharton, spent the entire 2012 season on injured reserve. He was supposed to start at left guard for the Bengals, but after his injury and after Boling's solid season, he'll likely provide depth as well.

Pollak was a second-round pick by the Colts in 2008 out of Arizona State and has spent time with Indianapolis and the Carolina Panthers (only in 2012) before he signed with the Bengals.
