Cincinnati is clearly doing their due-diligence filling out their draft reports, but it's believed that the Bengals will add quarterback talent to the roster either through the NFL draft or the hours that follow (aka, the period where undrafted players are signed as college free agents).

According to Aaron Wilson with the Baltimore Sun and Scout.com, the Cincinnati Bengals will host Western Michigan quarterback Alex Carder on Wednesday. Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese attended Western Michigan's Pro Day last month.

Carder generated 61 touchdowns during his sophomore and junior seasons combined, but suffered an injured finger on his throwing hand which forced him to miss six games. During 66-63 loss to Toledo on November 2011, Carder set a new Mid-American Conference record with seven passing touchdowns as well as a single-season school record 548 yards passing.

Carder also completed 9 of 11 passes for 95 yards passing during the East-West Shrine game, dominating opposing quarterback Colin Klein.
