EKU Wide Reciever Tyrone Goard Says He's Signing With The Bengals

New, comments

The undrafted free agency period has begun and the Bengals have reportedly come to an agreement with their first college free agent.

The Cincinnati Bengals have reportedly made their first move of the undrafted free agent season. According to Kyle Tucker, a University of Kentucky beat writer with the Courier-Journal, Eastern Kentucky wide receiver Tyrone Goard will sign with the Bengals.

Goard is 6'7" according to his profile page, running a 4.5.

Every year a handful of small-school receivers earn spots on NFL scouts’ radars because of their size and production -– and Goard has plenty of both. His tall, long frame helped him capture 39 passes for 627 yards and 11 touchdowns, as well as second-team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors, in his first year as a full-time starter in 2011. This followed a solid sophomore campaign where he earned six starts in 11 games (20-315, five TD), and two years after a redshirt freshman season in which he played just three games with no receptions. Goard played in 10 games as a senior, and he caught 41 passes for 900 yards and eight touchdowns.

Goard also retweeted another saying that he's a Bengals player.
