According to James Dator with SB Nation's Cat Scratch Fever (Carolina Panthers), the Cincinnati Bengals are attending Keenan Allen's workout on Tuesday. Allen, who "tweaked" his knee before the 2013 NFL National Scouting Combine in February, is working out in his native Greensboro, North Carolina.
Allen played three seasons with the California Golden Bears, generating 205 career receptions for 2,570 yards receiving and 17 touchdowns.
"My number three wide receiver and sitting at twentieth overall on my board," our own Joe Goodberry analyzes. "Allen has almost everything you look for in a starting outside WR. He had a terrible QB at Cal and it helped display his amazing catch radius and adjustments to a poor ball, but it also never fully showed his true potential and production.
"Good, but not great speed and athleticism. He's coming off a knee injury and needs to show he's healthy. I compared him to Packers WR Jordy Nelson."
Allen suffered a strained PCL in his left knee against Utah on October 27.
