Breaking down number of players kept on the 53-man roster since 2006

We take a look at the number of players that the Cincinnati Bengals have kept, per position, since 2006.

There are times where we'll offer essays about current issues or even stories told many years ago. Other times we'll offer commentary, news, and updates regarding the latest issues and news facing the Bengals. And sometimes we'll just go the traditionalist route, aligning ourselves with the very core of a blog by jotting something down for the sake of jotting it down. We're not trying to blow minds here.

So here's a breakdown, per position, on the number of players that Cincinnati has kept following final cuts, heading into the regular season opener that year. We didn't include players on roster exemptions (like Bobbie Williams' suspension in 2011 or Andre Smith in 2010, or players on PUP at the start of the season) because, well, they weren't on the active 53. But it's enough of a sidenote to mention.
