The gossip show and website, TMZ, has footage of Chad Johnson's questionable courtroom behavior and subsequent harsh punishment by the judge presiding over the case.

Monday wasn't a pretty day for the Bengals--past or present. Aside from the Adam "Pacman" Jones mess that caught Twitter by storm, there was an earlier story of former Bengals, Patriots and Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson acting up in a courtroom. Johnson was in court because of a parole violation stemming from last year's domestic violence incident with Johnson's ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada. The issue was well-documented on last year's "Hard Knocks" documentary.

His shenanigans backfired and an initial reasonable sentence was rescinded and a much harsher one was doled out by the judge presiding over the parole violation case. Johnson was sentenced to 30 days in jail after the former star receiver playfully patted his attorney on the behind in celebration of the seemingly easy initial ruling by the judge.

The move outraged the judge and the jail time sentence ensued. The rumor mill machine, TMZ, has the video and made it public. In it, you'll see the whole situation play out. You make the call if Johnson was out of line, the judge overreacted or maybe a little bit of both. Either way, it's a sad chapter in the saga that is Chad Ochocinco Johnson's life. Let's hope that this stint in jail helps turn his life around.
