WhoDey Weekly interview with Dre Kirkpatrick

We had the opportunity to interact with the Bengals at the Taste of the NFL event presented by the Freestore Foodbank. Here is our conversation with Dre Kirkpatrick.

Joe Robbins

One of the players I was able to talk to at the Taste of the NFL event was the young Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick. The first question I had to ask was about the injury. While he did not come out and say he was back to 100%, he did say the knee was coming along fine.

I then transitioned to what kind of things he can pick up when he is injured. Kirkpatrick talked about the little things he is able to learn by watching Terence Newman and Leon Hall.

I then of coursed asked about the expectations for the season. It was at this point he smiled and said "Super Bowl". I understand that a player is not going to say "We are hoping for a playoff run and an early exit", but it is still pretty awesome when they tell you to your face that the goal is the championship. As a fan it is exciting.
