Open Thread: Which Bengals Would You Choose To Be In Your Party When The Zombies Apocalypse Comes?

The dead have risen and you must make it across the state to the safe zone. Which three Bengals will you pick to accompany you on your quest to safety.

Jonathan Ferrey

The vast majority of us love the zombie craze. Unlike werewolves and vampires, zombies are really hard to "Twightlight-ify," and who doesn't love a little blood and guts.

So, riding the current wave of zombie books and movies, we thought we'd put you in your very own zombie survival situation. So here you go....

The dead have risen in Cincinnati (which is where you are for the Bengals Monday Night Football game against the Steelers). These aren't your typical shambling corpses that are only dangerous in crowds; these zombies can't run, but they're not necessarily slow either (think Zombieland).

You know you can be safe if you go out west, but to do so, you'll need to fight your way through Cincinnati and other towns and cities. It's not safe to go alone, take this and even though you have your trusty chainsaw/baseball bat/pickaxe/cricket bat, you'll need help. Just then, three Bengals players run out of the stadium and join you on your survival adventure.

The question is, which three Bengals would you choose and why?

As for me, I'd say Geno Atkins for his size and strength, Rey Maualuga because he's been known to knock some heads off the field, and Andre Smith. Why Smith? Because even though I know he'd beat me if a foot race, I'd like to think I could outrun him if I needed to. Like the old saying goes, I dont' have to outrun the bear, I just have to outrun you.

Now it's your turn. Which Bengals do you want in your party and why?
