The Cincinnati Bengals have officially concluded their first week of Training Camp and though it was a short session, another important player left practice with a significant injury.

+The story of the day on Thursday was the ankle injury to wide receiver Andrew Hawkins. Though he told his older brother Artrell Hawkins that he believes it's nothing more than a high ankle sprain, we all need to wait for the results of an MRI he is undergoing Thursday evening. Bengals.com editor Geoff Hobson predicts that this type of injury would put Hawkins out until the regular season opener.

+Cincy Jungle's own Andrew Miller (@AndrewFoxMiller) was at Thursday's practice and shot us a bunch of updates via Twitter. He initially noted a strong turnout for practice at Paul Brown Stadium:

+Hobson noted before practice that offensive tackle Andre Smith was inactive for Thursday's practice, but as it commenced, Miller showed us a picture of him in pads:

+Through the dismay that was shown at the time that Hawkins went down, Miller captured a nice moment for kids at PBS, getting pictures with "Who Dey", the team's mascot.

+In other disheartening injury news, tight end Jermaine Gresham was held out of Thursday's practice with a hamstring issue:

+And now for some other on-field highlights at Thursday's practice:
